This could be the last post for 2013. The world around me is slowing down, family is coming together and the time for gift giving and reflection is rapidly approaching. I would have to say that 2013 was not the best year for me personally, but 2014 looks like it has a lot of promise.
Taking time to renew family ties and reflect on our accomplishments is one of the things that makes us human. The human condition is so hard to understand that we really do need to dedicate a few mental resources to examine where we have been and choose where we are going. The books that I have been reviewing shed some light on how bad we really are at understanding why we do the things we do.
For those of us trying to improve, we have to set aside time for reflection and examination. These next few days provide us with an opportunity to do just that.
I would like to thank you for taking time to read my BLOG and I would like to wish each and every one of you a Merry Christmas and a Happy and prosperous New Year. I may slip a couple of additional posts in over the break, but I’m not scheduling time to write so no promises.
